About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage university classroom usage, course scheduling, and instructional facility alignment with academic goals
- Facilitate course scheduling processes and systems, ensuring database integrity and accurate course information
- Collaborate with academic departments and leaders to create and manage the university's academic calendars and weekly class schedules
- Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty and staff regarding scheduling and classroom usage
- Provide campus-wide training on course scheduling processes
- Assist with student registration processes, including waitlists, grading, and directed study courses
- Administer academic modules and curriculum management systems (Courseleaf)
- Maintain accurate course information in Colleague and assist with demographic change processes for compliance
- Develop and maintain quality control reports for academic scheduling
Requirements
- Two years of experience in higher education, project management, data entry, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in data entry and management with experience using database software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, including managing complex spreadsheets
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for training and cross-departmental collaboration
- Personal commitment to the Christian faith and the integration of faith and learning
