Academic Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead operational forecasting for enrollments, resources, and program demand to support strategic growth.
• Manage master scheduling for courses, exams, lecturers, and academic events while resolving conflicts.
• Design and continuously improve SOPs to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Oversee academic delivery quality, including audits of live sessions and lecturer performance.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and academic standards across all programs and materials.
• Manage cross-functional communication between academic, customer service, finance, and operations teams.
• Monitor and analyze operational data, including attendance, performance, and utilization metrics.
• Lead lecturer coordination, onboarding, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee exam implementation, LMS updates, and academic content accuracy.
• Manage student experience touchpoints, including feedback collection and issue resolution.
• Plan and execute major academic events such as graduation ceremonies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
• MBA is mandatory.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in academic operations or education management.
• At least 3+ years in a senior managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of academic systems, LMS platforms, and ERP systems (preferably Odoo).
• Experience with forecasting, workforce planning, and operational analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in international education environments or accredited academic institutions.
• Background in process automation or ERP optimization.
• Experience in advanced analytics or performance modeling.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
