Academic Initiatives Strategist

Responsibilities

• Develop and propose new academic initiatives and programs to improve student outcomes.
• Manage high-impact academic initiatives and support cross-functional change management.
• Analyze program and student performance data to inform decision-making and strategy refinement.
• Research current trends in the learn-and-work ecosystem, including skills-based practices and digital credentialing.
• Identify grant opportunities and contribute significantly to grant proposal writing and development.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to enhance student success and access.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations regarding academic strategies and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• 4 years of relevant, progressive experience in higher education, education technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with grant writing processes and funding opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a related field.
• 2 years of experience in skills implementation.
