Academic Department Director of Science

Responsibilities

• Lead the Science Academic Department at PrepaTec Laguna, managing faculty and ensuring high-quality teaching standards.
• Act as a coach and mentor to professors, providing guidance on didactic techniques, professional development, and administrative processes.
• Oversee the selection and maintenance of an inspiring and innovative teaching staff.
• Design and implement academic programs and transformative learning experiences centered on the student.
• Develop local and regional academic projects to position the institution within the community.
• Coordinate with School Services and Talent departments to manage faculty reporting and administrative tasks.
• Teach classes and participate in campus-wide activities such as events, competitions, and graduations.
• Ensure the integration of national initiatives to consolidate the PrepaTEC educational model.

Requirements

• Professional degree in a science-related discipline or education.
• Postgraduate degree (titulado) in a relevant field or education.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
• Proven experience in academic management, course design, and programming.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or TOEFL score of 600+).
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and human relations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and results-oriented mindset.
