Academic Department Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage academic department operations for the Business School, focusing on administrative coordination and indicator compliance.
• Oversee professor scheduling, including assignment to units and monitoring teaching loads.
• Support the professor hiring process, specifically for adjunct faculty.
• Coordinate national groups and provide support during enrollment periods.
• Monitor academic indicators such as specialty groups, English-language course percentages, and faculty recommendation ratings.
• Assist in preparing materials for semester start and end meetings.
• Support accreditation processes by reviewing and organizing necessary information.
• Manage departmental budgets and coordinate with laboratory staff for purchasing needs.
• Collaborate with TecServices to organize academic events.

Requirements

• Completed professional degree.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent teamwork and effective communication abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset and a results-oriented approach.
• Experience with academic management software such as Banner, APG, or IRIS is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Experience with Tec 21 academic management.
