Academic Counselor

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective students and parents to provide detailed information about educational courses and programs
• Counsel students regarding suitable career paths, course selections, and admission processes
• Drive admissions through effective relationship-building and persuasive counseling
• Manage fee collection and ensure timely payment follow-ups
• Follow up on leads generated through online inquiries and digital marketing campaigns
• Address customer queries regarding pricing, program benefits, and admissions
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and sales activities within CRM systems
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to optimize lead conversion strategies

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the EdTech industry
• Strong counseling, sales, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Target-oriented mindset with a proven track record in student conversion
• Ability to build trust and rapport with students and parents
• Weekend availability is required (Saturday and Sunday working)
