Academic Counselor

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized guidance to prospective students on academic programs, fees, and curriculum
• Guide students through the admission process, including applications and document verification
• Follow up with potential leads and use conversion techniques to drive enrollments
• Conduct engaging presentations and online or face-to-face counseling sessions
• Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and follow-up actions
• Provide career advice regarding job opportunities and certifications in the analytics industry
• Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to meet intake targets
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and educational partners

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in EdTech sales, academic counseling, or a related field
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with CRM tools or record-keeping systems
