About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise students on program and course requirements, eligibility, and academic or financial matters.
- Provide detailed information regarding procedures, policies, and deadlines to support student success.
- Review and assess proposals for minor modifications to academic programs and courses.
- Analyze program data and make recommendations for curriculum enhancements.
- Write and edit reports to support curriculum initiatives, including curriculum maps and expressions of interest.
- Support enrollment planning, course scheduling, and time-tabling processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a responsible administrative support role involving data management and complex coordination.
- Proven experience in student advising and providing academic guidance.
- Experience with curriculum design, evaluation, and committee support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience using academic tools such as ROSI, Degree Explorer, or Timetable Builder.
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a registrarial environment.
- Familiarity with the University of Toronto and the Department of Management.
- Knowledge of best practices in academic advising and student support.
