About the role

Responsibilities

  • Advise students on program and course requirements, eligibility, and academic or financial matters.
  • Provide detailed information regarding procedures, policies, and deadlines to support student success.
  • Review and assess proposals for minor modifications to academic programs and courses.
  • Analyze program data and make recommendations for curriculum enhancements.
  • Write and edit reports to support curriculum initiatives, including curriculum maps and expressions of interest.
  • Support enrollment planning, course scheduling, and time-tabling processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a responsible administrative support role involving data management and complex coordination.
  • Proven experience in student advising and providing academic guidance.
  • Experience with curriculum design, evaluation, and committee support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience using academic tools such as ROSI, Degree Explorer, or Timetable Builder.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a registrarial environment.
  • Familiarity with the University of Toronto and the Department of Management.
  • Knowledge of best practices in academic advising and student support.
