AC Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air-conditioning systems and equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions in AC systems
• Remove and fix AC blower fans, cooling coils, and electrical connections
• Perform regular maintenance including cleaning blowers and coils and checking belt and motor tension
• Adjust and calibrate thermostatic controls for optimal cooling performance
• Inspect and maintain refrigerators, ice machines, and chilled water supply systems
• Create plans and designs for new air-conditioning system installations and maintenance strategies
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks
• Ensure all work is completed safely, effectively, and in compliance with company policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Air Conditioning Systems
• 2+ years of experience in AC installation, maintenance, and repair
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic AC components
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Physical stamina for tasks requiring climbing, bending, and lifting
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
