AC Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems on various marine vessels
• Diagnose and troubleshoot AC system issues and propose effective solutions
• Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
• Monitor refrigerant levels, pressures, and temperature controls
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
• Participate in vessel equipment and machinery repairs as necessary

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as an AC Mechanic, preferably in a marine environment
• Strong technical knowledge of AC systems, components, and refrigerants
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals
• Mandatory Diploma or Professional Certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations for marine AC maintenance
• Physically fit for work in confined spaces and challenging conditions
• Willingness to travel at short notice across Saudi Arabia
