About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain air conditioning and refrigeration equipment across the CUMC Campus
- Inspect, repair, and implement preventive maintenance for the refrigeration program
- Troubleshoot electrical schematics and control systems
- Repair supplementary A/C equipment including compressors, fan motors, pumps, and condensing units
- Manage environmental boxes and Harris boxes with humidification
- Perform detailed record-keeping on all equipment maintenance
- Adhere to all departmental safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5-8 years of professional experience in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Valid CFC Universal EPA certification
- Strong working knowledge of troubleshooting and electrical schematics
- Demonstrated knowledge of control systems
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
