About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide academic, operational, and administrative leadership for the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program at the Lynnwood satellite campus.
- Coordinate the implementation of didactic, laboratory, simulation, and clinical components of the program.
- Serve as the primary on-site leader for faculty and students, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and accreditation standards.
- Orient, mentor, and support full-time and part-time faculty, including clinical and lab instructors.
- Act as the primary escalation point for student academic and clinical concerns.
- Collaborate with clinical placement and simulation coordinators to ensure effective learning environments.
- Support accreditation processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., WA BON, CCNE).
- Participate in program evaluation, continuous quality improvement, and data collection for student outcomes.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field, or a Master’s degree in nursing with a doctorate in progress.
- Current, unencumbered RN licensure (or eligibility) in Washington State.
- 3 years of teaching experience in prelicensure nursing education.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical education, simulation, or lab instruction.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior leadership experience in nursing education (e.g., course lead, coordinator, or director).
- Experience working within accelerated or hybrid nursing programs.
- Experience with curriculum development and program evaluation.
- Established professional relationships with clinical partners.
Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $135,000 - $145,000 per year.
