Absence Management Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage leave of absence benefits and administrative aspects to ensure compliance with FMLA and state/jurisdictional requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding leave of absence benefits.
• Implement benefit policies by overseeing critical dates, timelines, required documentation, and quota balances.
• Maintain employee privacy and confidentiality in adherence to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
• Ensure adequate and objective documentation is provided to determine proper leave designations.
• Maintain accurate system records and data within Absence Soft, WorkDay, and Work Force Software.
• Support strategic department objectives by analyzing data and identifying patterns or trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Two years of relevant experience managing various leave programs, including FMLA, STD, and LTD.
• Knowledge of state and federal leave laws and jurisdictional requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Absence Soft, WorkDay, or Work Force Software.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends in leave data.
