A400M Flight Ops Services Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver new Flight Operations Services for Military Aircraft customers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Manage technical resources, including internal teams and subcontracted workpackages, for Flight Operations Services worldwide.
• Oversee the provision of contracted services, including customer query resolution and product deliveries.
• Lead collaboration with internal departments such as Procurement, Legal, and Design Offices to define and operate services.
• Develop and implement Project Management Plans, defining scope, quality requirements, budgets, and timescales.
• Monitor project KPIs and manage risks by defining and implementing mitigation plans.
• Manage technical relationships with external providers such as Boeing-Jeppesen, Airbus Navblue, and Honeywell.
• Lead customer relations regarding flight operations services, products, and commercial offers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in project management within TAS or a similar environment.
• Strong understanding of the Airbus organization.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain value propositions to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally for customer support, training, and operational engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with A400M aircraft or similar military transport aircraft.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to business development.
