About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and verify quality activities in the flightline phase, ensuring aircraft system integrity and conformity with design specifications.
  • Release aircraft for ground and flight operations, including engine run-up inspections and pre/post-flight checks.
  • Conduct comprehensive aircraft testing, evaluate results, and document discrepancies within the Airbus Log Book (ALB).
  • Provide technical support and execute troubleshooting for aircraft avionic, airframe, and powerplant systems.
  • Perform ground checks such as static system tests, APU runs, engine runs, low-speed taxi, and compass swings.
  • Manage FAA Part 145 Work Packages and issue official Release to Service (RTS) documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison to resolve technical issues with Engineering, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of Quality Inspection experience, preferably within the aviation industry.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting Avionic, Airframe, or Powerplant systems.
  • Knowledge of aircraft design, manufacturing rules, drawing systems, and inspection processes.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and occasional weekends based on business needs.
  • Proficiency in English communication skills for providing technical direction.
  • Physical ability to work at heights (up to 40 feet), work in confined spaces, and lift up to 55 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience specifically with A320 Family aircraft.
  • FAA issued A&P license or EASA Part 66 license.
  • Airbus A320 T1 & T2 training.
  • Previous flightline experience and leadership experience.
