A220 Final Assembly Line/MRB Liaison Engineer

Responsibilities

• Investigate non-conformances reported by the Quality group and evaluate manufacturing deviations.
• Create engineering dispositions supported by drawings, sketches, and international standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to resolve operational or engineering issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Stress, Manufacturing, Production, and Aerodynamics.
• Work with production support groups such as Methods, Quality, and Logistics to resolve aircraft issues.
• Coordinate with international MAP offices to ensure client requirements are accurately addressed.
• Mentor new MRB candidates through on-the-job training.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Bachelor's degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of MRB/MAP experience in commercial/business aircraft OR 8 years of Aerospace design experience.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft structure and system installation.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 or similar CAD software.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to relocate to or commute to Mobile, Alabama.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanics of materials, stress analysis, and composite materials.
• Experience in aircraft structure (Airframe) design or stress design offices.
• Capability to obtain Engineering MRB delegation after training.
