About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections of engine hardware for damage, defects, and wear both prior to and following engine tests
- Maintain accurate and reliable documentation of all findings on applicable forms
- Participate in establishing assembly methods, including tooling and planning
- Perform necessary rework of engine hardware
- Communicate shift change requirements to ensure seamless information transfer between teams
- Clean, organize, and maintain the cellular manufacturing work area according to established standards
- Ensure the continuous flow of materials and parts through the cell
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations
- Support the training and development of other Cellular Assembly & Test Associates
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of directly related experience
- Mechanical background (e.g., automotive, motorcycle, or small engine repair)
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Ability to push or pull 60 lbs and maintain a grip strength of at least 50 lbs
- Ability to work the 3rd shift
Preferred Qualifications
- Current A&P license
