About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary liaison between the EVP of A&R and internal/external stakeholders, including artists, managers, and producers
- Manage daily operations for the EVP, including scheduling, travel coordination, expenses, and meeting preparation
- Coordinate project updates, timelines, and asset distribution across internal departments
- Assist in managing artist budgets, travel, and project-related expenses, including processing invoices and expense reports
- Support marketing and creative initiatives by coordinating campaign elements and collaborating with Digital and Marketing teams
- Attend meetings, showcases, and industry events as a representative of the A&R department
Requirements
- 2–4 years of administrative or project coordination experience in music, entertainment, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information
- Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime for events or time-sensitive projects
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience at a major record label or music company
- Familiarity with Luminate, Concur, or internal label systems
- Deep passion for music and a strong understanding of current industry trends and the digital landscape
