About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and sign aircraft documentation to ensure "As-Built" status matches "Target Configuration"
  • Issue Aircraft Statements of Conformity and Transport Canada Export Airworthiness Certificates
  • Manage the resolution of conformity discrepancies in coordination with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
  • Transmit certification files and report export activities to Transport Canada
  • Assist the FAA Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) with the issuance of FAA Certificates of Airworthiness
  • Maintain Transport Canada embossing seals and stamps in accordance with TCCA regulations
  • Validate As-Built Component Listings (ABCL) and other technical logs

Requirements

  • Professional education in aeronautical maintenance or engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in an aeronautical field (production, maintenance, or engineering)
  • 3 years of practical experience with Transport Canada airworthiness certification and FAA regulatory requirements
  • Valid AME M2, E license, or FAA A&P license
  • Strong knowledge of TCCA CAR 561 and FAA regulations
  • Proficiency in English communication (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work onsite for the 2nd shift in Mobile, AL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Configuration Management and Aerospace Industry Standards
  • Knowledge of Lean Management and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5 Why, PPS)
  • Familiarity with Final Assembly Line (FAL) production processes
