787 Materials & Processes Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with 787 Program, Fabrication, Manufacturing, and Engineering leaders on top priorities, RIO management, and technology insertions
• Ensure the M&P team meets commitments regarding design development, design reviews, liaison support, qualifications, and supply chain activities
• Lead M&P people development strategy and manage first-level managers
• Manage and execute to budget, staffing, and business health metrics
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and emotionally safe work environment that encourages speaking up regarding safety, quality, and schedule concerns

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• 1+ years of experience in Materials & Processing Engineering
• 1+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System
• Willingness to travel domestically approximately 20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with team building, developing, and motivating employees
• Strong communication skills with experience working directly with executives or senior leaders
• Ability to adapt to a changing statement of work
