Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on heavy machinery and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Complete repairs and replacements of faulty components
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize tasks
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements
- Valid 421A Heavy Equipment Technician License
- Previous experience as a 421A Mechanic, preferably in an industrial setting
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues
- Strong commitment to safety and industry regulations
- Physical ability to handle lifting and working in various weather conditions
