About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supply core material to internal and external customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Identify, receive, locate, count, and pull core products
  • Properly package, label, and distribute materials to correct locations
  • Use computer systems, tablets, and scanners to access company data and track processes
  • Operate hand tools, air tools, wrenches, and gauges
  • Maintain a clean work area and adhere to established work rotation plans
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities regarding safety, quality, and productivity

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for an entire shift on concrete surfaces
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently, involving repetitive bending, stooping, and twisting
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
  • Ability to read, understand, and complete technical documentation and instructions
  • Capability to memorize part numbers and identify component products
  • Willingness to cross-train and work overtime when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive or trucking preferred)
  • Previous mechanical experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
