About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation across all kitchen departments following chef directives
  • Demonstrate safe and hygienic use of industrial knives
  • Provide professional customer service on the food service line
  • Maintain cleanliness of steam tables and workstations before, during, and after service
  • Clean and disinfect designated areas including floors, counters, and equipment
  • Manage waste disposal and ensure all trash is emptied at the end of shifts
  • Receive grocery orders and ensure proper FIFO rotation and labeling
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of kitchen experience
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Food Safe certificate preferred
