About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation across all kitchen departments following chef directives
- Demonstrate safe and hygienic use of industrial knives
- Provide professional customer service on the food service line
- Maintain cleanliness of steam tables and workstations before, during, and after service
- Clean and disinfect designated areas including floors, counters, and equipment
- Manage waste disposal and ensure all trash is emptied at the end of shifts
- Receive grocery orders and ensure proper FIFO rotation and labeling
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of kitchen experience
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Food Safe certificate preferred
