3PL Fulfillment Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and fulfillment operations with domestic 3PL partners
• Monitor, analyze, and enforce SLAs and KPIs including order accuracy and on-time shipping
• Optimize outbound fulfillment operations including picking, packing, and carrier selection
• Coordinate inbound logistics by partnering with suppliers and carriers
• Collaborate with internal inventory teams to manage stock levels and reduce stockouts
• Identify and resolve operational issues such as delayed shipments and mispicks
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance speed and reduce costs
• Partner with IT to optimize WMS, OMS, and ERP systems
• Manage relationships with carriers and vendors including rate negotiation
• Develop reporting and analytics to track fulfillment performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with customer service, supply chain, and engineering teams

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience managing 3PL providers in high-volume ecommerce or retail
• Expertise in warehouse and fulfillment operations
• Deep knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, and fulfillment performance metrics
• Hands-on experience with WMS, OMS, and ERP systems
• Strong analytical and reporting skills using Excel, SQL, or BI tools
• Proven problem-solving ability regarding operational discrepancies
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading system integrations or automation initiatives
• Background in direct-to-consumer or high-growth ecommerce environments
• Experience negotiating carrier rates and managing vendor performance
• Familiarity with scaling operations in fast-paced environments
