3LS Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the highest technical escalation authority for complex, business-critical system issues
• Lead system-level debugging across hardware, OS, drivers, firmware, BIOS, and applications
• Perform deep root cause analysis using log analysis, crash dump analysis, and performance profiling
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, ODMs, and silicon vendors to resolve design defects
• Drive end-to-end corrective and preventive actions for systemic quality issues
• Validate hardware, firmware, and software fixes to ensure production readiness
• Mentor senior engineers and establish best practices for debugging and escalation handling

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering, system debugging, or platform engineering
• Expert proficiency with debugging tools including WinDbg and Windows Performance Analyzer (WPA)
• Strong experience troubleshooting PC hardware and platform-level issues (CPU, memory, storage, thermal)
• Deep understanding of system architecture, including BIOS/UEFI, OS internals, and driver interactions
• Proficiency in Windows internals, PowerShell, and command-line tools
• Ability to lead complex investigations independently under high-pressure conditions
