3D Technical Designer

Responsibilities

• Utilize Browzwear to create and validate 3D garment simulations for faster iteration
• Review fit, construction, and design details digitally to reduce physical sample rounds
• Read, interpret, and evaluate patterns from internal and overseas pattern engineers
• Provide actionable correction notes to resolve fit discrepancies and grading issues
• Lead technical fit sessions and deliver thorough fit comments through PLM
• Create and maintain detailed tech packs including measurements and construction standards
• Partner with Design, Merchandising, and Production to ensure brand and timeline alignment
• Communicate with domestic and international vendors and factories

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in apparel technical design
• Proficiency in Browzwear 3D (core requirement)
• Strong knowledge of pattern making, grading, and garment construction
• Experience working with Pattern Engineers to drive fit intent
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Centric PLM or similar platform
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Gerber or equivalent pattern making software
• Experience in international manufacturing environments
