3D Generalist Artist

Responsibilities

• Work through the full content lifecycle, advising on efficiencies via current and advancing toolsets
• Collaborate with a production artist group to develop a unique visual and technical language for Sphere
• Provide technical and artistic solutions to fulfill creative requirements and achieve studio standards
• Utilize 3D capabilities to solve technical problems and create new workflows
• Stay up-to-date with trends in art, design, and advancing technology
• Work with supervisors to address notes from clients or creative teams
• Document tools and techniques for departmental reference
• Collaborate with the team to solve complex challenges and contribute to best practices from development to compositing

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working as a 3D/CG generalist
• Proficiency in Cinema 4D and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of lighting and rendering
• Experience with Motion Graphics and Animation for events, commercials, or advertising
• Understanding of the 3D pipeline from visualization to final render
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Redshift rendering
• Working knowledge of real-time software toolsets, specifically Unreal Engine
• Software agnosticism and adaptability to new pipelines and tools
