3D C++ Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop C++ implementations of 3D geometry algorithms using triangle meshes and geometric representations.
• Apply computational geometry and mesh processing techniques to address requirements from additive manufacturing processes.
• Translate product and technical requirements into reliable, high-quality, and testable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, biomechanical, and manufacturing partners, to validate geometric behaviors.
• Participate in an agile R&D environment to support feature delivery and coordinated releases with global teams.

Requirements

• BS in mathematics, computer science, engineering, or an equivalent degree.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience in technical or scientific applications.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++.
• Strong foundation in linear algebra, geometry, or numerical methods applied to 3D problems.
• Experience with development tools including Git, Visual Studio, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills regarding complex technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a relevant quantitative field.
• Experience in a research, R&D, or startup-like environment.
• Experience developing or deploying software on Linux.
• Exposure to cloud services such as AWS or large-scale workflows.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including code reviews and extensive testing.
