3D Animator

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality animations for characters, vehicles, and props for in-game implementation
• Develop and maintain flexible, efficient character rigs for smooth animations
• Collaborate with 3D modelers, game designers, and developers to ensure seamless integration into game engines
• Optimize rigs for real-time performance while maintaining visual fidelity
• Troubleshoot and resolve rigging and animation issues
• Assist with motion capture clean-up and implementation
• Ensure all animations adhere to gameplay mechanics, technical constraints, and artistic vision

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Animation, Game Design, Computer Graphics, or a related field
• Proficiency in Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max for animation and rigging
• Strong understanding of animation principles such as timing, weight, and anticipation
• Knowledge of rigging techniques including IK, FK, skinning, and deformations
• Mandatory experience with Advanced Skeleton for rigging
• Experience in HIK system for Mocap Animation
• A portfolio showcasing animation and rigging work

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine
