3D Animator

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality 3D animation for characters, creatures, and props using Maya
• Collaborate with the Animation Supervisor and Lead Animators to meet creative and technical standards
• Interpret and animate from storyboards, animatics, and director’s notes
• Ensure animation aligns with the show’s visual style and storytelling goals
• Address feedback and revisions promptly to meet production deadlines
• Work efficiently within the animation pipeline following studio workflows and naming conventions
• Coordinate with other departments such as Rigging, Layout, and Production

Requirements

• Proficiency in Maya
• Solid understanding of animation principles including timing, spacing, weight, and anticipation
• Ability to animate stylized characters
• Strong understanding of character acting and facial performance
• Valid work permit to work in Spain (EU citizenship or Spanish residency)
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Ability to work 100% on-site at our studio in Tenerife
• Experience working on animated TV series is a plus

We combine creative talent and technology to produce high-quality animated series and feature films, including notable projects like Tara Duncan and Miraculous Ladybug season 5. We are currently working on the upcoming series 'Messi and the Giants', produced by Sony Music Vision, Sony Pictures Television Kids, and Leo Messi Management.
