2nd Shift Tech Factory Quality

Responsibilities

• Execute company Quality Policy, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety requirements
• Maintain high standards for product quality, housekeeping, and hygiene to meet "ready to eat" standards
• Escalate quality or food safety incidents to management and communicate findings to cross-functional teams
• Perform line inspections after sanitation and conduct regular GMP audits
• Manage "out of specification" materials by placing products on quality hold within the JDE system
• Verify QA checks, HTST charts, and production paperwork across all factory lines
• Support quality improvement initiatives such as product defect reduction and "first time right" goals
• Train personnel on HACCP checks and support warehouse inspections for pallets and trailers

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills regarding automated mechanical processes
• Excellent interpersonal communication, math, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work multiple shifts and schedules
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment involving cold temperatures, high noise levels, and standing for long periods

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of related experience in quality assurance or food manufacturing
