1st Year Apprentice - Heavy Vehicle Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 4-year paid apprenticeship program in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Work hands-on with powerful trucks and buses at the VCV Sydney West dealership
• Learn from industry-leading mechanics, auto electricians, and service professionals
• Support the workshop team in daily maintenance and repair tasks
• Commit to both practical on-the-job training and formal studies to earn a Cert III qualification

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• A genuine interest in trucks, engines, and heavy machinery
• A strong desire to learn and a willingness to be hands-on
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to show initiative
• No previous mechanical experience is required, but full commitment to the 4-year program is essential
