1st Grade Bilingual Teacher

Responsibilities

• Cultivate social-emotional well-being by building a positive classroom culture
• Implement research-based bilingual math and reading curricula
• Develop and use assessment data to refine instructional practice
• Maintain strong relationships with scholars, families, and colleagues
• Participate in weekly coaching sessions and professional development
• Foster community engagement through age-appropriate activities and service
• Engage in whole-school events including family conferences and tutoring

Requirements

• Full bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
• Bachelor's degree
• Commitment to antiracism and diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Ability to use data analysis to drive instructional decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• State teaching certification
• 2 years of urban teaching experience
