12v Installation Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, repair, and remove breath alcohol ignition interlock devices in customer vehicles
• Provide technical support and on-site training to customers regarding device activation and operation
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning devices or wiring issues
• Follow all specified procedures and state-mandated component requirements
• Report any suspected equipment tampering or attempts to bypass the system

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with 12-volt systems
• Proficiency in reading schematics and automotive wiring
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience installing and servicing stereo, alarm, or remote start systems
• Intermediate knowledge of automotive electrical systems
• Experience in conflict resolution
