About the role
Responsibilities
- Supporting students with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Providing 1:1 or small group support tailored to individual needs
- Helping teachers manage the classroom and promoting a calm, positive environment
- Encouraging learner independence and progress
- Collaborating with teachers, ALNCOs, and external professionals
- Upholding the highest standards of pupil safeguarding and wellbeing
Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people with additional learning needs
- Calm, caring, and flexible approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to undergo processing
- Right to work in the UK and currently based in the UK
