Structural Inspector

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractor(s) compliance with standards and contract documents through observation, measurement, and testing.
• Track quality assurance progress and maintain records of manpower and resources.
• Undertake site supervision and inspections as required or instructed by Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
• Document contractor activity, personnel, equipment, location, reasons, and methods.
• Report on material delivery and implement site instructions from project leaders.
• Apply and implement all site quality controls and procedures.
• Prepare site measurements and conduct survey checks as needed.
• Monitor conformance to quality, performance, and code requirements during inspections.
• Monitor health and safety of construction works and report violations.

Requirements

• Diploma in a related engineering field
• Experience in structural projects
• Construction supervision experience with a consultancy
• Minimum 7 years overall experience (5 years in UAE)
