Structural Inspector

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors comply with contract documents.
• Document and verify the quality and quantity of work performed on site.
• Process incoming inspection requests and technical submittals and take necessary actions.
• Read and understand contract documents, drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures.
• Observe, measure, and test contractor compliance with standards and specifications.
• Track quality assurance progress.
• Maintain daily records of contractor manpower and equipment.
• Supervise and inspect site activities as directed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
• Document contractor personnel, equipment, activities, locations, and methods.
• Report on material deliveries and implement site instructions and quality controls.
• Prepare site measurements and surveying checks.
• Monitor conformance to quality, performance, and code requirements.
• Monitor health and safety of construction works and report violations.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering required.
• Experience in structural-related projects.
• Minimum 7 years overall experience; at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Prior construction supervision experience with a consultancy firm.
