Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead design development, design review, and supervision of professionals for urban design projects.
  • Coordinate project teams and manage resources to deliver agreed deliverables.
  • Guide junior urban designers and mentor new recruits, ensuring quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Conduct market research, apply urban design standards, and ensure technical excellence across all deliverables.
  • Structure teams with clarity on roles and responsibilities to enhance collaboration.
  • Attend client meetings as technical support and build client relationships.
  • Participate in bids and proposals, presenting solutions and supporting commercial aspects.

Requirements

  • Post Graduate Degree in Masterplanning or Urban Design.
  • Minimum 6 years of post-graduate experience.
  • Strong understanding of urban systems and multidisciplinary project delivery.
  • Proven ability in design documentation, report writing, and technical knowledge.
  • Experience in supervising, coordinating, and mentoring teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working outside the Middle East.
  • Creative skills for translating complex ideas into visual concepts and clear reports.
  • Demonstrated success in leading key projects/tasks and small teams.
  • Proficiency in design and geospatial tools.
  • Computational design, sketching, and drawing capabilities are desirable.
  • Portfolio required as attachment or link in CV.
