Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery (time, cost, quality) of assigned construction packages
  • Supervise and manage contractors for compliance with specifications and milestones
  • Direct supervision team for daily inspections of works
  • Maintain high safety standards and contractor compliance
  • Resolve site issues and present progress to client teams
  • Negotiate scope changes with clients and subcontractors
  • Follow up on project instructions and commitments
  • Establish Project Execution, Health & Safety, and Quality Control Plans
  • Monitor site staff performance and program requirements
  • Oversee technical, fiscal, and administrative project functions
  • Assign tasks to key subordinates
  • Contribute to performance reviews and development plans for team members
  • Hold internal weekly meetings to review project status
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed
  • Represent company in client meetings
  • Manage engineering and construction management for roads projects
  • Review technical deliverables, construction programs, specifications, and cost estimates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or related field)
  • Minimum 20 years’ post-graduate experience in project design and site supervision
  • Broad engineering background
  • UAE experience essential, specifically in Dubai
  • Proven expertise in sewerage treatment works and sewage treatment plant design/construction in the region

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering chartership (advantageous)
  • Understanding of Dubai Authorities (advantageous)
