Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee activities and efficiency of staff for successful project delivery
  • Ensure project is constructed according to plans and specifications
  • Monitor client’s programme or progress report
  • Ensure Client’s compliance with Contract Documents
  • Inspect all workmanship and material
  • Coordinate vertical and horizontal controls for the Client
  • Perform layout checks on line and grades
  • Maintain all file records on designated forms (workforce, equipment, progress, safety, etc.)
  • Review and approve Client’s shop drawings
  • Conduct soils and materials testing per contract specifications
  • Responsible for Contract administration
  • Approve final materials submittals
  • Certify Client’s progress payments
  • Review personnel, equipment, and material costs for Variation & Change Orders
  • Handle requests for additional compensation and time extension
  • Prepare Variation Orders for additional and new works
  • Prepare monthly reports and include site safety monitoring
  • Inspect safety conditions and report construction safety violations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 15 years infrastructure engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies
  • Familiarity with Dubai building codes and regulations
  • Excellent project management and multitasking skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong technical report writing and communication skills
  • Willingness to work onsite and travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • RTA approval preferred
  • Prior experience in RTA projects
