Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery (time, cost, quality) of assigned construction supervision projects.
  • Supervise and manage contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and milestone dates.
  • Direct and manage the supervision team in day-to-day inspections.
  • Maintain high levels of safety and ensure contractor compliance with obligations.
  • Resolve site issues and present progress and package updates to client teams.
  • Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
  • Follow up on project instructions and commitments.
  • Establish Project Execution, Health & Safety, and Quality Control plans.
  • Monitor program requirements and site staff performance.
  • Supervise execution of all technical, fiscal, and administrative project functions.
  • Assign responsibilities to key subordinates.
  • Contribute to performance reviews and staff development plans.
  • Lead internal weekly meetings to review project status.
  • Represent the company at all client meetings.
  • Oversee engineering and project/construction management, with emphasis on Roads construction.
  • Review technical deliverables, construction programs, specifications, and cost estimates.

Requirements

  • Minimum 20 years' post-graduate experience in design and site supervision of engineering projects.
  • Broad general engineering background.
  • UAE experience required, especially in Abu Dhabi.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Civil Engineering).
  • Chartered Engineer status preferred.
  • Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authorities is advantageous.
