Senior Land Surveyor - Bridge

Responsibilities

• Conduct precise land measurements and topographic surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques
• Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports using specialized software
• Create accurate maps and plans for various construction and development projects
• Ensure compliance with local UAE land laws, regulations, and international surveying standards
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to provide expert surveying input
• Perform quality control checks on survey data and implement best practices in surveying methodologies
• Assist in managing project timelines and resources effectively
• Troubleshoot surveying issues and develop practical solutions
• Stay updated on the latest surveying technologies and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field
• Professional certification as a Licensed Land Surveyor
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in land surveying
• Advanced proficiency in surveying equipment and software, including GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD, and GIS
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex survey data
• Knowledge of local UAE land laws and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop practical solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Physical fitness to perform fieldwork in various terrain and weather conditions
• Willingness and ability to work in the hot climate conditions typical of Dubai
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in bridge, road, or marine infrastructure projects in the UAE
• Experience leading or mentoring junior surveyors
• Familiarity with quality assurance/control in surveying
