Senior Engineer - Structural

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction supervision of major roadway projects including highways, interchanges, and rehabilitation of existing roads
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment
• Familiarity with construction of Box Girder Bridges in UAE/Dubai
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of RTA specifications
• Conduct inspections for installations and review inspector performance
• Coordinate with project managers to resolve technical issues and optimize solutions
• Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and address structural concerns
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of structural elements
• Stay updated on latest industry trends and best practices in bridge and underpass engineering
• Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, time, and budget constraints

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 12 years experience in structural engineering (bridges and underpasses)
• Knowledge of RTA specifications and construction of Box Girder Bridges in UAE/Dubai
• Strong understanding of international bridge design codes and standards
• Demonstrated experience developing QA/QC procedures for inspections and test plans
• Excellent project management and team leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with UAE construction practices and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• RTA Pre-Approval highly desirable
• Middle East or UAE/Dubai experience preferred
• Professional engineering license or equivalent certification
