Senior Engineer - Civil (STP)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for STP and pumping station works, including inspections, test plans, and method statements.
• Conduct and follow up on installation inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor and review inspectors’ performance regularly, providing guidance as needed.
• Update and report progress for assigned works to the Project Manager for inclusion in project reports.
• Review and verify updated records for accurate preparation of as-built documentation.
• Check, verify, and coordinate all assigned services, including civil, structural, and MEP interfaces.
• Coordinate with the Head Office design team for material submittal reviews, design queries, and technical clarifications.
• Oversee and inspect construction activities for STP pipelines, sewers, manholes, valve chambers, washout chambers, air valves, connection chambers, pumping station structures, and non-disruptive road crossings.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards during all site activities.
• Support in resolving site-related technical issues and provide input for potential design modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in design, construction, and site supervision of STPs, pumping stations, and wastewater infrastructure
• Experience with STP pipelines, sewers, manholes, VC, WO, AV, connection chambers, and non-disruptive road crossings
• Knowledge of STP and pumping station design principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Middle East/UAE experience preferred, especially in Dubai Municipality projects
