Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage BIM implementation on small-to-medium size projects
  • Train Digital/BIM teams and practice-line
  • Set up project Common Data Environment according to project scope
  • Orient project teams on BIM workflows
  • Author BIM & GIS execution plans, reports, and related documentation
  • Attend client BIM Kick-off meetings, address requirements
  • Support the project delivery team in resolving technical BIM/modeling issues
  • Ensure adherence to office, project, and client BIM standards
  • Perform model QA/QC checks
  • Contribute to processes, procedures, templates, and model content
  • Maintain federated BIM model and related clash sets as per client requirements
  • Chair design coordination and clash detection sessions
  • Prepare project template models
  • Ensure teams work on CDE following AECOM BIM Standards
  • Support BIM Manager on CDE TQR review process and workflow maintenance
  • Stay updated with industry BIM technology and workflows

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in engineering/construction, including 5+ years in BIM coordination
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or related engineering
  • BIM accreditation/certificate recommended
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 and BS/PAS 1192 standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience authoring and implementing BIM and GIS execution plans
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills for BIM modeling issues
