Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction sites to ensure the architectural design is implemented correctly and according to plans.
  • Monitor quality of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to resolve design or construction issues.
  • Ensure construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, making adjustments to plans as necessary.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to clients and stakeholders, highlighting deviations from the plan and proposed solutions.
  • Maintain detailed records of site activities, including daily logs, inspection reports, and change orders.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with the project.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years demonstrable experience in all aspects of supervision and project administration of architectural works for large-scale projects in the Middle East consulting industry.
  • Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Membership of a recognized institution (e.g., PE/Peng, CEng).
  • LEED GA or AP certifications.
