Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and review landscape design plans, ensuring they align with project requirements and local regulations
  • Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other professionals to integrate landscape designs into overall project plans
  • Oversee the implementation of landscape projects, including site preparation, planting, and irrigation system installation
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the landscape construction team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and local authorities
  • Stay updated on innovative landscaping techniques and sustainable practices suitable for the Dubai climate
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project progress and outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in landscape engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in landscape design software, including AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and sustainable landscaping practices
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • In-depth understanding of local environmental conditions and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
  • Knowledge of native and adaptive plant species suitable for the region
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
