Project Surveyor III / Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based post contract delivery of cost management activities, interacting daily with the AECOM site supervision team
• Achieve and maintain the highest standards of professional competence in all dealings with clients and professional contacts
• Integrate with key members of the design and client teams
• Assist in evaluating claims
• Perform measurement and quantification
• Prepare financial updates and monthly cost reports
• Assess and value progress payments and change requests
• Review and compare scopes of work, production rates, and cost data
• Prepare earned value reports
• Prepare, review, and update cash-flows
• Estimate variation orders for contractors and subcontractors
• Evaluate and negotiate variations and change orders in liaison with Contract Administrator and Construction Teams
• Negotiate final account settlements

Requirements

• QS or Engineering degree, or similar equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• MRICS preferable
• Dynamic, forward-thinking, and self-managing
• Presentable and personable team player, comfortable in large, dynamic environments
• Ability to build successful working relationships with internal departments
• Strong in handling multiple tasks and timely completion of work
• High professionalism, initiative, and creativity
