Project Engineer (Bridge - Expansion Joints & Bearings)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Develop and review detailed engineering designs, specifications, and technical documents
• Conduct complex engineering analyses and provide innovative solutions to challenging problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, clients, and stakeholders
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Participate in business development activities and client presentations
• Optimize engineering processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity
• Contribute to the development of engineering standards and procedures within the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 15+ years experience in Bridge Maintenance Projects (Expansion Joints & Bearings specialization)
• Proven track record leading and delivering engineering projects
• Strong technical skills in engineering design, analysis, and relevant software (AutoCAD, Revit)
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and mentoring abilities
• Knowledge of industry standards, local building codes, and UAE regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience with hydraulic modeling and infrastructure design
• Proven experience in mentoring junior engineers
