Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures, including updates.
  • Ensure contractors comply with standards and specifications through observation, measurements, and testing; track quality assurance progress.
  • Maintain records of contractor manpower and equipment resources daily.
  • Undertake site supervision and inspections as required or instructed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
  • Document contractor’s personnel and equipment, activities, location, reason for activities, and methods used in assigned areas.
  • Report on materials delivery and follow/implement any site instructions from the leader.
  • Apply and implement all quality controls and procedures on site.
  • Prepare site measurements and surveying checks as needed.
  • Monitor conformance to quality, performance, and/or code requirements through inspections.
  • Monitor health and safety compliance and report violations.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering (required).
  • Experience in mechanical-related projects.
  • Minimum 7 years of construction supervision experience with a consultancy.
  • Familiarity with mechanical methodologies (HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Protection, Water Supply).
  • Knowledge of Building Codes.
  • Experience in high-rise buildings, mixed-use residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of construction techniques.
